The Third Place asked good questions and helped us figure out what our own needs were when we were too frazzled to think through all the scenarios on our own. They were incredible partners in helping us launch and scale.

How businesses use The Third Place to launch

Saison Cellar and Wine Bar
Saison Cellar and Wine Bar
Opened by the team behind the Michelin-starred restaurants Saison and Angler, the space offers a refined wine bar experience, and launched with both a membership featuring private, climate-controlled wine storage, and a wine club with nationwide shipping.
Members enjoy a dedicated concierge and exclusive events designed to introduce them to the wine bar's sister concepts.
They also use The Third Place's Marketing Companion for email, text, and Guest Journeys where personalized outreaches are automated before a guest's birthday, anniversary, or if they are likely to book a private event.
Chef Seth Stowaway
Chef Seth Stowaway
Chef Seth Stowaway is the founder and chef behind the Michelin-starred Osito, San Francisco's celebrated 100% live-fire restaurant. In 2025, he began building momentum for his next concept through a series of intimate, ticketed pop-up dinners and a membership program that offers pre-paid access to these limited-space events.
The Third Place's Marketing Companion also helps Chef Seth streamline communication, from pre-drafted event announcements to automated sequences of welcome, reminder, and thank-you messages that free up time, while keeping guests informed and excited about what's next.
D'Serve
D'Serve
D'Serve, artisan doughnut shop by day and intimate, farm‑to‑table restaurant by night, was opened in Flemington, NJ by Andrew and Shannon Mercado.
Using The Third Place, D'Serve launched a quarterly membership program that grants members house credits, access to priority reservations, exclusive events, and farm tours with the local growers behind their ingredients.
Summer St Wine Room
Summer St Wine Room
Summer St Wine Room is a Mediterranean-inspired wine bar and restaurant in Australia known for artisanal small plates and wines in a relaxed yet refined dining experience.
They've used The Third Place to grow their mailing list since pre-opening, and launched both an in-person membership program alongside a wine club subscription.
Potential New Boyfriend
Potential New Boyfriend
Rated “one of the best wine bars to open in the South in the past several years,” PNB began as a cult-favorite ice cream pop-up in Asheville.
When the owner, Disco, set out to bring his full vision of a hi-fi listening bar with wine and dessert to life, he turned to The Third Place to crowdfund for the concept and launched a membership program prior to opening.
Being an intimate, walk-in-only space, members have the exclusive ability to reserve ahead, ensuring PNB's earliest and most loyal supporters are prioritized, even as its popularity continues to grow.
The Happy Crane
The Happy Crane
The Happy Crane is a modern Cantonese restaurant from Benu and Palette Teahouse alum, Chef James Parry. Before opening its doors, it used The Third Place to build buzz through a series of sold-out pop-ups across San Francisco.
Today, The Happy Crane uses the Marketing Companion to unify their newsletter and reservations into a single guest database, and sends both email campaigns and Guest Journey sequences to keep guests engaged.

The Third Place were the first to really get behind what we're doing and helped us create a community for our guests.
